BRIT is facing a critical shortage of foster homes for Brittanys. This week, we urgently need two foster families to open their homes to Brittanys in need. We have two adult Brittanys (one male, one female) in West Texas waiting to be brought in.
Every day, Brittanys are surrendered or found wandering the streets. Without foster homes, we can’t rescue these Brittanys and give them a chance at a better life. You can be the hero these Brittanys are waiting for!
While we accept fosters from all over The Great State of Texas, we especially need foster homes near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Because our vet is located in Granbury, having foster families close by allows us to quickly place Brittanys into foster care once they’ve been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. In our 15 plus years of working with Foster Families, we’ve found a quick placement after vetting helps reduce the Brittany’s anxiety.
By fostering a Brittany, you’ll provide them with a safe, loving environment while they wait for their forever home. You’ll also gain valuable experience as a dog owner and help us continue our mission of rescuing and rehoming Brittanys.
