Age:11 years old (2/17/05)
Weight:  45 lbs

UPDATE from foster Dad  4-20-16:

Allow me to introduce myself…..I am “Smoke”! Yes, that’s my real name – pretty awesome don’t you think?

My favorite thing ever is being outside–I’m a fence running, squirrel watching, sunbathing Brittany!  I’m very well-wannered and won’t bolt outside if you open the door, I’ll sit patiently until I hear, “Go Ahead!”  I also know how to sit, stay, come, make a circle, and when I hear “Inside!” I’ll bolt right in!

I’m great with other dogs, raised with cats and good with kiddos–even in large crowds!

I’m housebroken with no accidents ever. I love to be loved on and will nuzzle and “purr”– I’m a very affectionate boy.

So why haven’t I been adopted yet!? My story is short and kind of sad. You see an animal control officer found me wandering the streets – it seems I jumped out of my yard and broke my ankle last June. BRIT has taken care of the surgery and helped with my recovery. Now I love to run around outside on all four, and I’m ready for my forever home!

Smoke has been neutered, is up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
