Hello everyone, my name is “Sassy.” I’m a big girl – don’t all Brittanys weigh 50 lbs? (I think so …)

My story is short and sweet (sort of). First, I want everyone to know that my family really loved me, but at the same time they wanted the best for me. You see they had a senior dog that (I don’t want to say anything bad about seniors) … well let’s put it this way: that dog just didn’t like a young girl like me with the energy level of a typical Brittany. Enough said. So, anyway, BRIT took me in promised to find me the perfect forever home.

My previous Mom said: Sassy was the pick of the litter. She likes to have room to run around and explore. She’s definitely interested in birds, but she hasn’t had any formal hunting training. Sassy needs a home with kids (or adults) who will give her lots of attention. She loves to run at our family’s ranch so a big back yard for her to run in would be perfect.

A few early observations from her new foster home: Sassy is great with our male Brittany and the cat. She gets a little jealous when we come in the room – possessive of her new humans. She doesn’t seem interested in toys, but does love running and exploring in the back yard.  Sassy is very affectionate and calm for a Brittany. She is housebroken and crates well.  Whoever adopts this sweet loving girl will be incredibly lucky – and she will most assuredly return that love and affection.

Sassy has been spayed,  is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative and is microchipped and is ready for her forever home.
