Greetings. My name is Rusty. BRIT promised me that I am going to rescue the perfect family and provide them with the unconditional love and comfort that they have been missing.
I have a short and sad story. I was found by someone who called BRIT because my eye was injured and was bleeding. BRIT took me to an opthalomogist to figure out what was going on with my eye – it hurt an awful lot. That eye doctor said I had been shot with a plastic BB and we are still waiting for the swelling to go down before they can decide whether I get to keep my eye or not. Yes, I am blind in that eye. But don’t think that slows me down one single bit.
I don’t remember much of anything about my past. I’m good with other dogs, but sure would love to scarf up a kitty (yum). I really want a home where I can run to my heart’s desire and I probably need a six foot fence to keep me in J. I love people and I love to be a Brittany and do the things Brittanys love to do – run and play.
Rusty is neutered, up to date on his shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and heartworm preventative. He will be ready for his forever home in early July.
