BRIT #: 20131204
Age: 6 yr
Gender: Male
Weight: 50 pounds
UPDATE 6-2-14:
Well it turns out that I am not fearful – I’m a quiet, thoughtful guy – and since Brittany folks aren’t used to a calm demeanor, they misunderstood my quietness for fearfulness – NOT the CASE. And my new vet says I am definitely a Golden Retriever / Brittany mix – can ya get any better than that? I think not.
So come on ya’ll … take me into your home and into your family – it will be the best day of your life. I know it will be the best day of my life. By the way, I think kids are okay, I’d just like them to be at least 12 years of age … those youngsters make me nervous – just didn’t grow up around little kiddos.
I’m still the vet getting my teeth cleaned – just wait till you see my pearly whites :)
I know, I don’t look like a “regular” Brittany. Besides, you really can’t say that boys are “adorable” so suffice it to say I am handsome! Well, here’s the deal: I’m a Brittany Blend. We’re thinking I’m blended with Great Pry or maybe Collie. You will have to agree that I am adorable – er, that is incredibly handsome. I promise we will post new pictures of me very soon – these were taken when I first came in and was really afraid of my new surroundings …
Now that I have that out of the way, hi everyone – my name is “Riley.” I’m a very sweet, loving, affectionate and all around wonderful boy. But I am a bit timid. I’ve been moved around quite a bit and am a little shy because of it.
I am in a foster home but would really like a home of my very own – are you looking for someone just like me? I will be the best dog ever if you’ll allow me to be your forever Brittany Blend boy. My Foster Mom will be updating my story soon – so please check back in a few days to find out just how wonderful I really am.
I do like other dogs, not sure about cats. Children make me a little nervous – maybe I’d like older children (10 years or more).
Riley has been neutered, is up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. He is ready for his forever home now.
