Hello everyone, my name is “Missy.” My story is a bid sad – you see I was dropped at the shelter by my elderly owner who was going into an assisted living facility – he loved me, but could no longer care for me. The minute he left the shelter called BRIT and they rescued me. They promised to find me a new home right away and I’m going to hold them to that.
They say that I’m affectionate and always happy and excited to see people; I love to run and play – I think somewhere in my past life I had lots of room to run (not positive about that, but it seems like I did). I definitely need some training, including how to walk on a leash. I do know a few commands, so perhaps somewhere in my previous life I was taught some manners.
I will be going into a foster home soon so look for BRIT to update my story as they get to know me.
Missy has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. She is ready for her forever home.
