BRIT #: 20130204
Status: ADOPTED
Age: 1.5 years
Gender: Female
Weight: 20.6 pounds
My name is “Jolene” and it suits me because I’m a real pretty little girl. You might think I’m a baby (and in many ways I am), but the people who turned me into the shelter said I was one and a half years old. I am a petite Brittany. My vet says I could stand to put on another 2 or 3 pounds, but that’s all I need to maintain my petite figure.
I’m a sweet but timid girl – I haven’t had a lot of life experiences. I was dumped at the shelter with my sister “Jillie” and brother “Justin.” I love to play with them – they are my best friends. I don’t know anything about my past – conveniently I have amnesia.
I really want to trust and love, but I’m afraid – don’t know much about people (or life for that matter). Please be patient and loving with me and I’ll be the sweetest and most loving Brittany in the whole world. I do like other dogs (at least my brother and sister), not sure about cats or children.
Since I just came into the BRIT rescue program, they said they would need to get to know me a little better before they can write a story – so you’ll just have to take my story from above for now.
I am looking for my forever family. Are you looking for someone like me? Maybe we can get together. Please remember, I’m still pretty much a puppy and have puppy ways.
Jolene is up to date on her shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. She will be spayed and microchipped in a few days – then she’ll be ready for her forever home.
