Jake’s family turned him in to the shelter after having him in their lives for nine years. They didn’t explain why. If we had to venture a guess. We think he and Jackie were a breeding pair who were getting to old to breed.
Since we’re still in the process of getting to know Jake, all we can tell you so far is that he is a very sweet and loving boy.
The perfect home for Jake would be one where he has a female companion, since he and Jackie are very attached to each other. He needs a family that will commit to him and not abandon him. Are you the family for him?
Jake has been neutered, is current on his shots, is micro chipped, and is on heartworm preventative.
