Hi everyone, I just came into BRIT today. My new name “Holly” is so appropriate for the season and I kind of like it.

I’ve had a couple of really scary days. I got lost from my home and had to live in a shelter for about ten days. Yikes, was it noisy and scary – I hated it. The people there were nice, but I couldn’t wait to get out. My good luck started when a nice lady from BRIT came and rescued me. She took me to a place called a “vet clinic” where they checked me over, gave me shots and tomorrow they are spaying me – not sure what that means, but they seem to think it’s something I need.

Since I’m brand new on the roster, and the nice folks at BRIT don’t know anything about me or my personality, please check back for an update after I get to my foster home. One thing they already know is that I am a very very special girl. They tell me that I’m not only beautiful, but am very loving and affectionate and whoever adopts me will be incredibly lucky – that makes me feel really special.

Holly will be spayed tomorrow, and brought up to date on all her shots, on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Please check back for an update on Holly … once we get to know her better.
