I’m “Harp” (Dublin’s handsomer brother)…not really, but hey, sell the sizzle not the steak they say! My brother and I were named after our dad’s favorite beer/brewery. So…it’s a little different but my name is special, like me!
My foster family promises to get some better pictures of me and my brother – we don’t much like looking at the camera.
My dad got deployed and didn’t have any place for us to go. The folks at BRIT saved the day for us and are helping us find homes! My new friend says that I’m “Fluffy” but I think she’s trying to be nice when she says I need to lose some weight. I’d like to take up leash walking as a form of exercise, if you think you can help me with that, I’m game! I’m also pretty birdy and far too interested in cats for their safety! I don’t like water, please…don’t make me play in the water like my brother! I don’t really have any other bad habits, other than the cat fascination, oh, I’m told I need help with my leash manners, but I can learn! I do like playing tug and really like other dogs and all sorts of people!
Harp is a sweet and affectionate boy. He and his brother get along well but don’t have to be adopted together. He is not crate trained, he was allowed full house access and has shown he has good house manners. He is not good with cats though. On the upside, however, I absolutely love children.
Harp is neutered, up to date on his immunizations, heartworm negative, on preventative and microchipped. If you think Harp is the mature boy for you, please submit that adoption application with “HARP” on it!
