Rescuing Brittanys: A Volunteer-Driven Mission
When an abandoned, neglected, or surrendered Brittany comes into our care, our dedicated team of volunteers immediately jumps into action. From the moment we receive the call, our network mobilizes to arrange critical transportation to safely bring the pup into our fold. Next, we secure a loving foster home, where the Brittany can decompress and begin its healing journey. This is followed by immediate, comprehensive veterinary vetting, ensuring the dog receives necessary medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgery. Finally, we put our hearts into meticulously matching the pup with the perfect forever family, completing their rescue story. This entire, life-saving process runs entirely on the passion and commitment of our volunteers.
To sustain this swift, hands-on rescue work—which includes everything from transport and immediate medical attention to providing supplies and enrichment—we depend on more than just time and love. The veterinary bills, specialized care, and supplies for every Brittany add up quickly.
