I know, I know, I’m absolutely beautiful … my name is “Georgia” and I’m now a BRIT Brittany! I’m in a wonderful foster home with another Brittany boy and an English Setter boy – we sure are having a lot of fun! Here’s what my foster mom says about me:
“Georgia is a sweet, sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and loves her couch time. She enjoys going in and out the doggie door and enjoys playing with her foster brothers. She is full of Brittany energy and does well on leash, will sleep in a crate, and is house broken. She knows ‘sit and stay.’ Georgia is a little interested in my cat, she will need a slow introduction to both cats and dogs but once her nervousness is gone she is good as gold. She is a gem all the way around!
Small children make her very nervous – so the kids in her life need to be 10 and over!”
Georgia has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
UPDATE 8/21/17
Georgia is a sweet girl but does has some resource guarding issues. After an assessment from a certified dog trainer BRIT feels that Georgia would need a home with older kids or a retired family that would be willing to do some training that would need to be constant. She doesn’t do well with ” little children” but does fine with older kids that recognize her guarding issues. She will low growl when she is up on a couch but has never bitten my kids. Consistent training would be needed to address this issue. She gets on famously with my Brittany and likes to play chase with him. She would do fine with a home that had another dog about her size so she won’t be lonely.
