Howdy, ya’ll, my name is Forrest – my foster mom named me, pretty cool don’t you think? I am a little on the thin side – and my foster mom is also helping me with that too (are you getting the picture that she’s pretty great).

Here are a few things I heard my great foster mom say about me. Are you ready? She said she doesn’t think I’ve ever lived in the house and that she doesn’t think anyone ever trained me – so she’s teaching me lots of stuff. I am learning how to break the house (or maybe it’s learning to be housebroken). We don’t think I’ve spent much (if any) time around other dogs, so I’m learning how to interact with my Brittany foster brothers.

I love to be petted. I have a human foster brother who is four and I really love that little guy – he’s so sweet and fun. Oh wait, more about me (after all he’s not up for adoption, I AM). I have a blast in the yard and running around out there. Sometimes my foster mom gives me a chewie and let me tell you how much fun that is. Another thing I like is getting bathed. My foster mom says I smile all the time. Well, if you were in such a great foster home, you’d be smiling too.

Please hurry up and fill out an application. Hurry !!! I promise the nice people at BRIT will call you right away and sing my praises.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM:

Forrest gets more lovable every day! He’s doing much better on housebreaking. He talks to me – when I ask him a question, he answers – it’s so cute! He lives for rawhide chewies and loves to be inside with the family.

Forrest has been neutered, is up to date on his shots and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and on preventative. He is very excited about finding his forever home very soon (maybe before Thanksgiving). He would certainly have a lot to be thankful for.
