Hi! I’m Dublin! My new friends here at BRIT think that my name is pretty interesting. I have a brother named “Harp” who came into rescue with me. Beer lovers, like my former dad, know that Harp Beer is brewed by Dublin, so our names go together! My Dad said I was six years old so I guess that’s how old I am.

Harp was adopted last month – now it’s my turn for my very own forever family.

I’m in rescue not because of bad things that happened in my life. Just one bad thing, my dad got deployed. He didn’t have anyone who could keep us for him, so the good folks at BRIT are helping us to find a new home.

I’m a very good boy, I have broken the house (whatever that means), I have a great personality, I get along with other dogs and like playing tug! I LOVE water – it’s the best!  I absolutley love kiddos. I’m also very strong and unfortunately I haven’t done a lot of leash time so I do need some manners work on leash. My dad never crated me so I do have good indoor manners. I am very birdy, the downside is that I have pretty strong prey drive and not a good match for someone with CATS!!! So if you don’t have any cats and would like a great boy like me, then get that application done and be sure to put down my name, Dublin!

UPDATE:  Dublin has been in his foster home for a while now and they wanted to share a little about this sweet boy: He is housebroken, knows sit, shake, stay, whoa and learning what quiet means (though he’s not much of a barker). His favorite place to sleep is the leather couch. He is a very well behaved boy and a sweet foster to have in our home. He is very good on a walk with a harness – he loves our walks.

Dublin has been neutered, is up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative and he is microchipped.
