I’m Dixie – wouldn’t you know it, BRIT has another Dixie … so they’re calling me DIXIE TOO (and we’re both in the same foster home). They don’t want to change my name at this stage of my life. I’m really happy to be here with BRIT after a very scary visit to a shelter – even though the people were very nice, I am so glad to be out of there!
My family contacted BRIT, and because I constantly get out of my yard, they decided I’d be happier in a new home. Since that door is closed, I’ve found an open one. I’m settling into my foster home – actually I feel like I’ve been here a long time, but it’s only been a few days – I fit right in!!! The cool part is that I’ve never lived inside before – they figured that out about me by the way I act inside. Okay, so I was a bit wild the first day – standing on the small dresser, checking out the counters to see what’s up there – boy, howdy, I can’t believe my luck – so much to take in. I hope that you’ll think of me when you are looking for a great girl (albeit a senior citizen) to call your own!
Isn’t Dixie Too a beauty? She is in great shape for her age. This great girl is settling in (she thinks she’s settled, but believe us it will take a few days for that to really happen). It won’t be long for us to get to know this doll and we’ll update her story.
