Hi there, my name is Cruz and I definitely know my name! I’m just a youngster – a playful, sweet, smart, and HANDSOME puppy boy.
I was being fostered by a great foster family. I loved them immediately. In fact, I love all people (and dogs) immediately – I’m very affectionate and trusting. The good news is that I’m potty trained :)
I lived in an apartment but I would LOVE to live in a house with a yard :) I am very energetic, and my favorite thing to do is explore – chase squirrels, birds, etc. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and I’m really good at chilling when it’s chill time.
When I was about 4 months old, I received multiple injuries including – a broken tail, a crushed elbow, and I an eye condition called Horner’s Syndrome. You can check out my blog post for the full story. Dr. Paulsen (my Opthamologist) and Dr. Saliba (my vet) helped me get healthy. I will never be a runner because of my leg, which I’m fine with. But with that said I LOVE to run and play with other dogs – so a home with a yard and another dog would be ideal.
I know how to sit, lay down, and I’m working on “stay.” I like to get up on the furniture, but I also know what “off” means! I’m a fast learner and ready to practice more tricks.
Things I like: treat training, frozen kongs (filled with cottage cheese and kibble – peanut butter is gross!), bully sticks, toys that are hard to destroy (like ropes!), and ice cubes.
Cruz is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.
