Howdy everyone!!! I just joined the ranks of the BRIT Brittanys. Today my owners dumped me at a place they call a shelter. They told them my name was Cowboy. I was very scared there – I don’t understand what happened! I’m really a good boy – honest.

I’m a sweet and affectionate boy – but when people put a leash on me it scares me to death … I love people but I’m a really scared of new situations. And I’m really really scared of hard concrete and tile floors. I have developed a case of amnesia cuz I don’t remember anything about my life before today and maybe that’s a good thing.

Since I’m one of the new Brittanys in the BRIT rescue program, they said they would need to get to know me a little better before they can write a detailed story – so you’ll just have to take my story from above for now.

I am looking for my forever family. Are you looking for someone like me? Maybe we can get together – soon. I’m looking for a family that will teach me how to be the very best Brittany ever, and I hope they have lots of love and patience with me because I really don’t know anything. I didn’t get as much attention and love as I needed in my previous life.

UPDATE:

Cowboy is in a wonderful foster home. We have determined that this sweet and adorable Brittany boy may be mentally challenged. We are working with him to make a determination. But we promise you that doesn’t keep him from being the sweetest and cutest boy.

Cowboy has been neutered, is up to date on all his shots, is on heartworm preventative, and is micro chipped.
