BRIT# 20171105 Status: ADOPTED Age: 10 weeks Gender: Male Weight:   14 lbs I know, I’m adorable, but I don’t look like a “regular” Brittany.  Well, here’s the deal:  I’m not a full Brittany – I may not be any Brittany – but we’re thinking maybe a Pointer blend. Not that it matters one bit – I’m cute, cute, cute. Now that I have that out of the way, hi everyone – my name is TROOPER! Thank you to all the great BRIT volunteers who saved my life … I was found running on the side of the road in NE Texas and thankfully there was a whole team of folks who stepped up to save me, get me to BRIT, get me to my foster home, then the vet, and now I’m looking for my forever home....

Sly

BRIT# 20171104 Status: ADOPTED Age: 1.3 yrs Gender: Female Weight:   28 lbs I know what you’re thinking: I have never seen a Brittany girl this pretty – yes, I’m what they call a “roan” Brittany! My very cool name is SLY. My hunting family made the difficult decision to find me a loving home where I could be a family member … it’s true I’m NOT a hunter. So you’ll just have to love, love, love me. I may not hunt, but I am what you might call a typical high energy Brittany – so get ready for my fun energy ~ I’ve just joined the team of BRIT Brittanys. They can’t wait to get to know me so they can tell you all about me. One thing they already know is that I am a very...

BRIT# 20171003 Status: ADOPTED Age: 1 year Gender: Male Weight:    45 lbs My story is short and sweet. I have amnesia and don’t remember anything about my past. BRIT gave me my cool name! They think I might have some French Brittany in me (whatever) – but you’ve got to agree I am pretty darn handsome no matter what J I am looking for a foster home so BRIT can report back with my great personality traits. BRIT says all they know is I’m a typical high energy youngster. Please check back for updates on me. Boz is up to date on all shots, microchipped and neutered. He is heartworm negative and on preventative and ready for his forever home.  ...

JoJo

BRIT# 20171001 Status: ADOPTED Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight:    42 lbs My name is “JoJo” and my story is short – I was surrendered to a nice lady because my family could no longer keep me (or my brother “Rocco”). And that nice lady called BRIT because she thought we looked like Brittanys. :)  BRIT thinks I am a Brittany blend – they’re not sure what I’m blended with – but I am adorable don’t you think? Maybe a little Collie – we’re not sure – but does it really matter? BRIT promised to find me the best forever home ever!!! JoJo is in a foster home and we know he is shy for a short time when meeting new people, submissive, playful, likes other dogs –...

Fred

BRIT# 20170902 Status: ADOPTED Age: 7 years (born 1/18/10) Gender: Male Weight:    42 lbs Hello everyone, I’m new to BRIT. My name is “Fred.” I have a fancy AKC name – ‘Fred’s Bingo Buddy’ – but please call me FRED or even FREDDY! My family called BRIT when they realized they could no longer keep me. I’m in a great foster home.  They sayI’m a sweet boy, love to be loved. Please NO kids in my new family – they make me very nervous. I was never socialized with kids and DON’T LIKE their unpredictability, sudden moves and rowdiness. So no toddlers or kiddos under 14 years of age in my new home please. I like other dogs, but only of the female persuasion....

BRIT# 20170903 Status: ADOPTED Age: 8 years (born 4/2/09) Gender: Male Weight:    42 lbs Hey there everybody, let me introduce myself!  My name is “Rocky.” I do have a very fancy AKC name – ‘Rocky Cote de Granit Rose’ – but please call me ROCKY! Things changed in my family’s life so my Mom decided to find me a new home. As you can see I’m a very handsome (okay, beautiful) orange and white Brittany boy. Aren’t my pictures awesome? I am ready to love, love, love you. Yep, I’m a lover and really want to be very near my people. I also thought you’d like to know since I’ve always been an inside dog, I am housebroken – isn’t that good news? I’d love a yard to run in (I...
