If you wonder why they’re calling me Britney Girl – it’s because they just had a Brittany in the BRIT program and wanted to cut down on the confusion. Feel free to call me “Britney” – that’s my name and I know it well. I love to play in water, cuddle and play ball. Believe me when I tell you I’m a very sweet, loving, affectionate and all around wonderful Brittany girl.
Britney Girl just came into the BRIT program but her foster family has already shared some personality traits: She is extremely sweet, loves people, loves other dogs, loves children, HATES cats. Her prey drive is very strong and she needs to be in a home without a cat.
She is definitely focused on the sparrows sitting above her head on the fence awaiting their turn at the feeder. We thought she might be a good hunting dog, but her original owner said “She’s OK with gun shots. She finds birds and eats them – doesn’t retrieve them.”
Britney is very smart and willing to learn and because she is so eager to please, teaching her commands should be easy. She will make an excellent family dog! She needs a big yard (with a secure privacy fence) and an active family who can exercise her properly and play with her. She is housebroken (yah). Britney is about 5 pounds underweight … but most of us know how easy it is to put on a few pounds.
Britney Girl has been spayed, is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and on preventative and is microchipped and ready for her forever home.
