Beau

Meet Beau (Intake #0901)! 🐕

Have you ever met a Brittany with a built-in chill button? That’s Beau! While he certainly has that fun, joyful energy standard for the breed, he is equally content melting into your lap belly-up, head thrown back, just waiting for chin rubs and tummy pats.

When he isn’t snuggled up with his humans, Beau loves playing hard with other dogs. He is fantastic with all dogs and is both crate-trained and independent enough to self-entertain. Give him a small, soft, squeaky crackle toy—which he gently plays with rather than tearing apart—and he’s completely happy settling in for a quiet afternoon.

Beau is also a certified water lover! 💧 Whether it’s swimming in a pool, splashing through sprinklers, or playing in the rain, he is in his absolute element. If there isn’t a kiddie pool nearby, don’t be surprised if he digs the water out of his bowl just to lay in the cool puddle on the ground!

Smart, eager to please, and fast on the uptake, Beau already knows Sit, Down, Kennel, and Back, and he is currently making great progress on his leash training. Because he is so bright and adaptable, this is the perfect time for a loving family to guide him with consistent training as he finishes growing up.

If you’re looking for a clever, water-loving companion who offers the best of both worlds—playful energy and lap-dog sweetness—Beau might just be your perfect match.

Note: Beau is currently unneutered and will complete his vet care requirements prior to final adoption placement.
