I know, I know – you’re wondering if I’m a Brittany … well we’re just not sure. Thinking I might be a blend of a little Spaniel, a little Golden … with an adorable underbite. Does it even matter? BRIT saved me from a very full shelter and that’s all that matters.
My foster mom has sent off for a DNA to see what a great “blend” I might be. She says I need a slow intro to dogs – you see she has lots of b.i.g. Brittanys and well, to be honest, I was overwhelmed when I met them. I’m now comfortable with life with in a house full of big and active Brittanys – turns out they’re pretty cool – I’ll bet they’ll teach me a thing or two!
I am affectionate, loving, adorable, and love to be held. My Foster Mom says I’m doing great with the housebreaking thing – yay for me. I need a slow introduction when I meet new dogs – I get a bit overwhelmed and scared. I’m a little shy when new things / people are introduced, but warm up quickly. They say I’m protective of my treats and toys … looks like an opportunity for training. Foster Mom thinks I’ll be great with little kiddos, even tho’ I can be a bit “bitey” (another training opp) !
Austin is too young to be neutered but he has had his first set of puppy shots. He is microchipped and on heartworm preventative.
