I know, I’m adorable, but I don’t look like a “regular” Brittany. Well, here’s the deal: I’m not a Brittany. BRIT rescued me from a high kill shelter -something about the shelter was going to put me down – [I don’t what that means]. BRIT thought I looked like a Brittany in the picture and they were sure they could find me the perfect home. BRIT’s best guess about my “blend” is Pointer and Sharpei – I do point (the Pointer part plus my coloring). Anyway, we’re just not sure, but you’ll have to agree that I am adorable.
Now that I have that out of the way, hi everyone – my name is Annabelle and I know it and really like it. I’m a very sweet, loving, affectionate and all around wonderful baby girl. I figured out the pet door in about ten minutes – it was fun putting my paws and my 9 lb. body against the door to make it open. Now, I just run through it like it’s not even there – pretty smart, aren’t I? I love to play with my foster Brittanys … they roll me over and tease me all the time. I’m taking notes on what it’s like to be a Brittany – it’s a fun club to be in.
My Foster Mom says we’re working on breaking the house (h’mmm). She says she absolutely loves my personality. I’m in full blown puppy mode (hey, I’m only about 12 weeks old, what do you expect). If I’m not pulling all the toys out of the toy basket and playing with them – or at least spreading them all over the house – I’ll be taking one of my many daily naps. Got to rest up so I can be a puppy – lots to do, lots to check out, lots of trouble to get into.
Annabelle can’t be spayed till she’s about six months old. However, she has had two sets of puppy shots (one more to go). She’s had her rabies vaccination and is microchipped and ready for her forever home – maybe by Thanksgiving.
